How to use Sugoi Japanese Translator



Sugoi Japanese Translator is an app to translate Visual Novel from Japanese to English using DeepL translation, this app also have Offline translator like VNR, so this one is good for all of you who finding an  alternative app like VNR.

How This App Work?
This app will copy any text from clipboard, copy the text from clipboard to DeepL web from hidden browser, and then copy the translation result to its app.

Textractor (You need Textractor to hook the game)

Sugoi Japanese Translator + Offline Translator (The Offline Translator take much resources!)

Steps
For DeepL
1. Run "DeepL Translator (click here).bat"
2. When the app is opened, follow the instructions from "Notes.txt" if the the app is showing the text you copying, then it works!
3. Open Textractor 
4. Delete any translator extenstion like "Google or Bing" in the Extestion settings
5. Hook the game from Textractor, you can follow this tutorial
6. If Textractor have has shown the text exactly like in Visual Novel then just look on Sugoi app and see the result!
7. Don't close Textractor, coz it need to hook the Visual Novel.
Note: For Windows 7 run Sugoi app with Administrator

For Offline Translator
1. Run "Offline Translator (click here).bat
2 Wait for some minutes
2. When the app is opened, follow the instructions from "Notes.txt" if the the app is showing the text you copying, then it works!
Note: Offline Translator take much resources, so you need atlest 8-12gb RAM

  2. well the online is better but the offline can sure help when you have slow internet

  7. Sorry, i have problem with mine, it worked before but suddenly it doesn't work anymore. I used the DeepL one, it said "Copied text is Japanese. Initiate translation process" but never send it to window. it worked if i use the offline one. What goes wrong ?
  8. Sometimes DeepL updated their API, try updating your sugoiTL to newer version, the link is already updated
  9. You have manually to copy every line from textractor to translate in sugui using DeepL?

  10. Also, offline translator is not deepL, right? I found only DeepL can translate jap to eng to somewhat acceptable text which you can understand and read with no big issues.

  12. I'm using win7 and it cannot open like yours. It just a console window appeared and disappeared in a flash.
    • the steps one is taking some minutes, just wait until it appears
