Angel Beats! is a collaboration project of Key, Dengeki G's, and Aniplex.
The story of the visual novel is to be based on the Angel Beats! anime series. The player takes on the role of Otonashi, a newcomer to the Afterlife who finds himself in the middle of a struggle between a group of students who call themselves the Shinda Sekai Sensen ("Afterlife Battlefront"), or SSS for short, and a mysterious girl who is known under the alias of Tenshi (Angel). The story will undergo changes from the original anime and will include story routes with each of the characters. It also stated that Otonashi will be very different than his original personality in the anime, and will change according to the choices made by the player.

  14. It always crashes when I run it. It opens the game, even shows the cursor but then it crashes (This program has stopped working...). Any idea how to fix that? :(
  15. Oh, the original one crashes. When I install the English patch, I get the select.ini error even though I reinstalled the whole thing with deactivated antivirus.
  16. Wow. I tried everything and in the end I solved it by duplicating the 1st line in select.ini to make it 2 lines.

  19. yeah you just need to extract it with winrar ... just extact the part1 file and the other also start extracting

  27. I wrote some instructions for my installation progress, I tried to make them as understandable as possible, hope you can get your game working with these:

    1. Mount ISO and open installation program

    2. Click on the first option of the installer.

    3. Click next until installation progress bar shows up.

    4. When installation finishes, click next until installation menu pops up again.

    5. Game is now installed, you can close the installation window.

    6. Extract and open the Translation program (AB_EN.exe).

    7. Select your "~\Key\AngelBeats!\1st_beat\" folder as destination and install it.

    8. Extract the "AlphaROMdiE.exe" file from the "AlphaROMdiE-Build20140214.rar" file.

    9. Copy the EXE file to the "~\Key\AngelBeats!\" installation folder.

    10. Create a shortcut/link from your "~\Key\AngelBeats!\SiglusEngine.exe" to wherever you want.

    11. Right click on your created Link, on the "Target" path, change:

    From: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Key\Angel…

  48. nvm i'm Pepega... I didnt have to drag the game into the alpharom thing.. I just simply clicked on the game and it runs normally. aight, i'm gonna go read some walkthru guide then. sorry for all my comments that i can't delete myself
